Setting up a Mac address filter for the Fritz!Box

1.Enter 'fritz.box' in the address bar of your browser. Then enter your password.

2.Click on [Radio network] in the menu bar on the left.

3.In the main window you can now see the devices that are connected to the Fritz!Box (see picture). Below select the option 'Restrict WLAN access to known devices' and [Apply].

To find out the Mac address

To add new devices, you need the Mac address of the PC or mobile device. This consists of six groups of two numbers and letters (hexadecimal) such as: 00-13-02-AF-B6-1C

1.For most mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, ebook readers), you can find the Mac address in the WLAN settings.
